Our Lawyers are again among the most experienced Danish M&A Lawyers

Dato 13 feb. 2018

Mergermarket has released its table of 2017’s most prolific Nordic individual legal advisers. Moalem Weitemeyer Bendtsen’s chairman Dan Moalem is the second most active Nordic M&A lawyer in 2017. The most notable 2017 assignments Dan Moalem participated in include acting as sell-side legal advisors to Advent International and Bain Capital in the private takeover of Nets [CPH:NETS] with a deal value of USD 6.6bn. Dan Moalem also acted for INEOS in its acquisition of DONG E&P and for TPG in the sale of Saxo Bank to Geely.

In the past five years Dan Moalem has consistently dominated the league tables in terms of deal count with a solid combined number one position in the Nordics.

Moalem Weitemeyer Bendtsen partners Pernille Nørkær, Lennart Meyer Østenfjeld and Bjørn Krog Andersen also secure top 15 spots at the top of the Danish 2017 rankings.

Further, the Mergermarket League Tables place Moalem Weitemeyer Bendtsen’s associates among the most active and experienced Danish associates with four of our associates ranked in the top 25 during 2017, and the picture is the same for the past three years.

As a firm, Moalem Weitemeyer Bendtsen maintain our position as a top Danish M&A law firm in 2017 both in terms of deal count as well as deal value. Given our very focused business model and deliberate strategy to grow very slowly, we are pleased with these results.
